Why it still matters
The job is to explain the screen, not invent one.
Generative video is useful for imagined scenes and visual concepts. A product walkthrough has a different job: show what the real product did, in a form people can trust and follow.
Keep tokens for work that needs them
The regular record, polish, export flow runs on your Mac. It does not need a video-generation model or another Claude run, and a recording is processed in seconds. Autopilot is there when you want an agent to operate your Mac; it uses the provider you configure and its time and token allowance.
Show the product that exists
The buttons, labels, timing, and result in the clip come from your real interface. That matters in a tutorial, onboarding guide, release note, or support answer where a believable but invented screen would undermine the point.
